In order to implement the spirits of the General Secretary XI Jinping regarding the series of speeches on the development of media convergence, promoting the progress of enterprise media, the First Enterprise Newspapers Media Summit of China Newspaper Industry was held in Yan’an Cadres Training Academy from August 9 to 13. China Top 100 Brand Enterprise Newspapers, China Advanced Units for Corporate and Brand Cultural Communication and China Enterprises Newspaper Media Advanced Workers in 2018-2019 were commended at the summit. Tsingshan Newspaper was awarded with the honorary title of “China Top 100 Brand Enterprise Newspaper” by China Newspaper Association.

Tsingshan Newspaper has a history of more than 10 years since its inception in December 2005. It has become one of the important windows to disseminate Tsingshan culture, and played an important role in spreading Tsingshan culture and enriching staff’s spiritual and cultural lives. It is a great event in the dissemination of Tsingshan culture to be awarded “China Top 100 Brand Enterprise Newspaper”, which not only fully demonstrates the mental outlook of Tsingshan staff in running the newspaper, but also fully demonstrates the strength and ability of Tsingshan staff in running an enterprise newspaper.

Tsingshan Newspaper was first published in December 2005. Since its first issue, Tsingshan Newspaper had been published one issue per month, with quarto 4-mo pages for each issue. In December 2011, Tsingshan Newspaper had page expansion and supplementary issue, and then it was published two issues per month, with folio 4-mo pages for each issue. Starting from the issue on August 1, 2019, Tsingshan Newspaper tried supplementary issue again. During the trial period, it was changed from the original folio 4-mo pages to folio 8-mo pages, and the layout of printed pages was narrower than before. At present, the total circulation is 8800 pieces.

The event was sponsored by China Newspaper Association and the Publicity Department of CPC Yan’an Municipal Party Committee. Founded in 1988, China Newspaper Association is a state-level social organization approved by Ministry of Civil Affairs of the People’s Republic of China and a national trade association with profound historical heritage and accumulation. More than 200 people from the Publicity Department of the Communist Party of China, China Newspaper Association, People’s Daily and the presidents and chief editors of the party newspapers in some provinces and cities, as well as representatives of large enterprises attended the event. At the same time, the opening ceremony of the First China Enterprise Newspapers Media Business Training Class was held and the training on the collecting and editing business of new newspaper media was organized.
